The DS30 beater is a lightweight dual sided beater that provides the ability to choose between felt and plastic for more control over the sound you can produce. Reversible Beater. With a dual beater head that’s 90 % plastic and 10 % felt, the DS30 offers more control over your bass drum, letting you to choose what beater you want with a simple, quick flip. The felt side produces a soft sound and plenty of warmth, whereas the plastic side provides a heavier sound with a sharp end attack and high pitch that makes it perfect for large settings.
